A couple of interesting circumstances brought about the development of a pain, drug and surgery free technique for relieving kids and grownups middle ear problems. This technique works for flyers, divers and people driving to high altitudes as well as for ear ache from middle ear infection and fluid buildup.  I am a parent of children who had ear ache at least once per year.  One of my kids developed chronic ear problems at the age of three.  I am one to investigate into alternative methods of healing and prevention.  Not only do I investigate but if I find something that works really well (there are numerous good things to report) I report on it within my community.  After numerous families and individuals have tried whatever method I mentioned to them I ask for feedback on their experience with it.  If the response is positive in the majority I continue recommending based on my experience and theirs.  I also continue to take feedback on the method. As long as it works well with no ill effects I continue recommending it from my experience and that of others.  I dont diagnose nor do I prescribe. Usually recommendations are based on personal and anecdotal experience.

It took approximately two years to discover and develop what I call the Ear Evacuation Technique.  At first I was working with an old osteopathic method for evacuating the middle ear which didnt work very well.  I added a couple of things to it and discovered it works like a charm.  It clears the ears of fluid within seconds and requires only the use of the fingers of your two hands.  It works whether there is an infection or not.  Practicing this technique over the span of four to six days (sometimes longer) keeps the ears free of fluid and pain long enough for the surrounding tissue to become healthy and for the infection to disappear.  There has been dramatic reduction of symptoms in nearly every person who used this technique.  One great thing about most of these cases is that they went to their doctor for a diagnosis before using the technique.  They recieved a diagnosis in advance and could tell me in those terms about their condition. A couple of my doctor friends report that it works very well.

One thing I must insist on is that anyone who has an ear problem that the Ear Evacuation Technique has no immediate obvious effect upon should see their doctor right away.  Ear infections can get into the meninges or lining of the brain and spinal cord and cause grave illness and death if not treated or an eardrum can be blown out by the building pressure in the middle ear..  I believe there isnt much wrong with using antibiotics now and then but only in the absence of a better way.  Antibiotics are losing their potency in fighting infections due to misuse, so we don't want to continue degrading their potency by using them when it isnt necessary. For middle ear fluid buildup and infection there is, in my opinion, nothing better to do than the Ear Evacuation Technique.  Most people with earache from middle ear fluid pressure and infection are helped by this simple technique.  I know that in the case of hardening of the material in the middle ear or in the eustacian tube that there is a reduction in effectiveness that is directly proportional to the degree of hardening or thickening.  That seems to be an unusual problem though.  I've seen it twice in seven years.

About tubes:  The tube installation changes the climate in the ear, dries it out,  and this causes fibroid growth on the bony structures in the middle ear.  This is damaging to the ear and degrades the hearing  according to one doctor I've spoken with who is an author on a book about ear disease in children
